                Hubex is your dedicated online tax return portal designed to enable individuals to prepare their own tax returns, and organise related financial information to connect and share with service professionals or their own advisers for review or required services. Hubex puts all your tax and financial information together in a format that is ready for you to share with advisors for specific tax or financial services.

How does Hubex work?

                Answer questions about your tax affairs manually and or get automatic prefilling direct from ATO to share with your accountants to review and lodge your tax returns.  No longer will you need to see an accountant in office to get your tax return done.  It’s all online and at the time convenient to you.

Who can use Hubex?
                Any taxpayer and or tax agent can use Hubex. The taxpayer can enter all their personal details, income, bills and can partially fill the tax return. They can then connect and share with a tax agent and engage their services for lodging the tax return.

                A taxpayer may be a business entity or an individual. Business entities may track assets and liabilities but only individuals can lodge tax returns from Hubex.

Signing up for Hubex
                The registration procedure is quick and easy. There are two ways to sign up for Hubex:
  1. Manually enter your personal information details.
  2. Sign in using your google account.
Registering with Hubex for the first time
Go to the Sign up Now link.

Sign up using either your Google account or your email.

Signing in with Google

               Signing in with your google account is available on the right side of the sign-in screen

  • Sign in using the Sign in with Google button. 
  • The user will be redirected to the Choose an account page.
  • Select the Google account to sign in with.
  • You will be redirected to authenticate the sign in via the YouTube app on your phone.
  • Accept the Hubex Terms of service and privacy policy and then select Create Account.  
  • The user’s account will be created and redirected to the individual dashboard page.
  • Sign in using the Sign in with Google button. 
  • The user will be redirected to the Choose an account page.
  • Select the Google account to sign in with.
  • You will be redirected to authenticate the sign in via the YouTube app on your phone.
  • Accept the Hubex Terms of service and privacy policy and then select Create Account.  
  • The user’s account will be created and redirected to the individual dashboard page.
Signing in with email
  • Enter your name and date of birth.
  • Agree to the Hubex Terms of service and privacy policy and then select Create Account.  
  • The user’s account will be created and redirected to the individual dashboard page.
Linking an existing Hubex account
  1. After the user has signed in with google, an existing Hubex account (eg,  xxx@eimpact.com.au) can be linked to another Hubex account (eg, xxx@govreports.com.au) by selecting the Link account on the right.
  1. The user will be redirected to the Link Account page to enter existing Hubex account details. Select Link Account

3. The user will be redirected to the linked account individual dashboard page.

Enabling Two Factor Authentication

               Once the sign up process is complete, the user needs to set up the two factor authentication (2FA)  process by using either a One Time Password (OTP) sent to the registered email address, or by using Google Authentication.

Enabling two factor authentication provides the highest security. We recommend setting up 2FA as soon as you set up your account.
  • To receive the OTP via email, select this option. The OTP code will be emailed shortly to the email address of the registered account holder.
  • Enter the code into the verification screen. 
  • Alternatively, use the Google Authenticator app on your mobile phone. Download the Google Authenticator app if you don’t already use it.
  • 2FA is required for each login to Hubex. However, the user can choose the Remember this device option to authenticate the device for the next 30 days.
