When an individual sends a request to a business provider through the Find an Agent option, the request will be seen by the business user in the Default Services screen. This listing captures requests that have not yet been accepted as an engagement.
The business user can view the request and attached information by selecting the View button.
In the Service Details, the business user can check the individual’s name, address, deadline, and description. Select View Return to open the tax return details.
After reviewing the contents, the business user can either Accept or Reject the request from the individual.
Default Services Listing
A customer request is added to an agent’s default services listing in one of two ways.
Find an Agent
The individual sends an engagement request to the tax agent.
Once the business provider (tax agent) accepts the request, the agent’s business profile will be shown in the Linked Agents section of the individual’s account.
Once the individual completes the tax return details, pays and submits, the return will be sent to the Default Services section of the business provider’s Service Request
After the service request is accepted, it will also be shown in the My Jobs > in Progress
2. Create Report
Alternatively, the individual user can first create the tax return using the DIY option and then send the service request through the Find an Agent
The request will be populated in the Default Services section of the registered agent.
The request will be converted into a job and be populated in the My Jobs > Not Started
Once both parties have accepted the request, the service will be populated in the My Jobs > In Progress
